What Does God Want You To Do Today?
Today God wants you to be healed. Healing is, as the scripture says, the children's bread. There are many Scriptures for healing, that are found throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament. But today, I want to look at the Scripture in the Old Testament, in the book of Isaiah, that says By his stripes we were healed.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
How are People Healed By Faith?
You see, healing was made available through the suffering and torture - through the wounds- of the Lord Jesus Christ. Can you think about it? A sinless man suffering for sinners. That is what Christ Jesus did when He suffered during His crucifixion. You see, God's Word emptied Himself so that we can be full of God's Word (John 14).
The physical body of Jesus was annihilated so that through Him we could have a healed body. It was a divine exchange and the healing that God gives can be yours through His Word!
Now, this can be physical healing, emotional healing and it can be spiritual healing, where even deliverance takes place. Wherever you are on the spectrum for healing, God is available with His strength to heal you and present you whole and full of peace.
Do you know a sick person?
Do you know someone who needs healing from a sickness of some sort? Then, today, be the conduit of God that He wants you to be and lay hands on someone and see them healed.
God is a healer.
And when you put your trust in Him, and believe in His finished work that He did on the cross, you can be healed and be a channel for someone else's healing. The Scripture says "By his stripes you are healed." It's a finished work. Now, you are to execute that work by receiving His Word in your heart and doing as He instructs.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Proverbs 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Matthew 10:1
And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
