Psalm Chapter 112 KJV
King James Version, Holy Bible
1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
THE MAN THAT FEARS THE LORD
Thought for the day: The Lord is eternally concerned and protects those that fear Him.
Message:
The best way to attract God’s blessing is to fear the Lord. The earth is so turned upside down today that people find it difficult to fear their Maker.
People are going to church, but they don’t fear God. It is in this generation I see people claiming to be born again, but without the fear of God, the world cannot be in the right state.
Psalm 112 is a chapter dedicated to prayer and a man that fears the Lord. When a man reverences God, The Lord comes down to honour such a person. Many prayers are not answered today because people lack the fear of the Lord.
Here we understand how Abraham was able to preserve the seed of blessing to generation after generation, it was because he fears the Lord, verse two confirms that “His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed”. And this was what happened to Abraham and even today we are still singing Abraham's blessings am I, we are trying to claim blessing upon a man that we didn’t know physically, because he live his life in reverence to the Lord, he loves and honors the Lord. See the bible
Proverb 19:23 The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
The Lord Himself is the keeper of those that fear Him. To abide under the shadow of the Almighty, we must fear the Lord.
My Counsel
Ø Don’t be deceived, if you fail to fear God, you will fear the devil.
Ø The Lord has promised to bless those that will fear Him. Do you fear the Lord?
Ø The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If you need wisdom, fear the Lord!
Declaration
Lord, I ask that You help me to fear You all throughout my life, in Jesus' Name.
