Is the 12 days of Christmas, a Catholic thing?
The 12 days of Christmas is celebrated by Catholics throughout the world, and some Protestant denominations do celebrate the 12 days of Christmas in their holy calendar.
The season starts from December 25th to the fifth of January, which, according to the Catholic and Anglican calendars, would be the eve of Epiphany. And while these have no particular biblical foundation in terms of the 12 days.
They are seen by some denominations as befitting of remembrance.
This time commemorates the incarnation of Christ Jesus through the womb of the Virgin Mary.
And while Scripture does teach that the Lord Jesus was born of the virgin, Mary, The 12 Days of Christmas celebration itself is not a biblical practice.
