Christian piano lessons for adults and children.
If you are anything like me, you love piano music.
And when I was a little boy, I remember sitting down in the pews of my Church and listening to the guys play the organ and the piano, and I remember there was something also moving about what they were doing, that as they played and as I listened to the words of the song,I felt captivated by the music, and I felt the Lord's presence over me as I sang along.
And it's something that happens to me to this day, where the music, if it's played well and if it's played with an honest and pure heart, it can lead you into the presence of God

You'll learn to read music and play by ear.
Throughout my over 25 year musical career, I learned how to teach others how to play the way that I play, and I play from a place of deep commitment and surrender to the Lord, as well as a place of security in my music skills. And these are two things that you need, to be effective as a music minister.
I'm going to share with you my secrets to playing the piano well.
Now this is a key strategy, but here we go.
Number one, practice often.
You will not go to the heights that you want to go on the piano if you don't practice often, it's a skill that has to be be developed. And if you practice often, you will get into that skill a lot faster than if you practice only when you have a scheduled class. So practice often.
Number two, in addition to playing by ear, learn how to read music.
I can't tell you how many times musicians have come to me saying, I don't know how to read music, but I can play by ear.
But there are times when a song is brought to you that you need to know how to read, and this is why at The Alive Christians School of Music, we teach you both how to read music and how to play by ear, and this helps you to be a well-rounded pianist or keyboardist while leading worship.

Gospel Piano Music or worship piano requires skill and heart.
And lastly, number three, when you are playing, always think about the person whom you are accompanying, or the person listening to the song that you're playing. It's not good to only be in your head. It's better to be in your heart when you're playing, because you need to remember that you are communicating a message from the Lord through music, and so your heart has to be in that right place. And if you're only thinking about yourself and what you're doing and how you're doing it, then that message doesn't flow forth out of you.
But if you are aware of the spiritual atmosphere where people are and the like, you'll be able to connect people to the presence of God, through your music.
