The bible has alot to say about relationships.
And today, it is our intention that the bible verses about relationships that we provide here will be a source of inspiration, comfort, and edification to you as the Lord shows you the types of relationships that you should be involved in.
The Lord Jesus is Our Example
You know, the Lord Jesus Christ had 12 disciples; He had 12 unique relationships.
And these relationships were all entered into by the leading of the Holy Spirit, even the one who would betray Him.
In your relationships, make it an essential part that you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Not everything that glitters is gold and not everybody that seems to be friendly is your friend. And so the Holy Spirit is your safety net. The Holy Spirit, as He brings inspiration to God's word, is your safety net. You may discover that what the Lord may reveal to you about a person that wants to be friends with you, or have a romantic relationship with you may surprise you!
You see, when it comes even to a marriage, you need to be led by the Holy Spirit who will bring to you the Word of God.
May you Build Relationships With People That See You The Way God Sees You
God's love was poured out upon us for even while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
It is my prayer that you find people, who even when you don't look the part, will extend a hand of friendship and goodness to you! I'm talking about even when you don't fit the status quo and what people would think would be somebody to be friends with.
May they find the goodness that God put in you, the Holy Spirit. May He continue to be all that's required for friendship and may you likewise find people who are led by the Holy Spirit who walk by the power of the Holy Ghost, because it is in this communion that you will often find fantastic, fulfilling relationships! When you drink from the same Source, your common Source will unite you. There's so much here in what I just said, but let's go on.

Ephesians 5:22-33
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord…

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement…

Good relationships. Whether they are romantic relationships or platonic relationships, they all have to be wrought, or formed by the power of God. Now there are some times that you may want a particular relationship and sometimes that's not what God wants for you. Sometimes, going down that route can lead you into a lot of unnecessary pain and heartache and God doesn't want that for you.
